If Paz messages you about work
Last updated: October 14, 2026
This page is for the people who work in a home: a housekeeper, a driver, a nanny, a cook. If a number called Paz has started sending you messages on WhatsApp about tasks and schedules, this explains who we are, how we got your number, what we keep, who can read it, and how to make the messages stop. It is short on purpose.
Who Paz is
Paz is a service run by Paz Labs Inc., a company registered in Delaware, in the United States. We make the app and the WhatsApp messages you receive.
Paz is not your employer and does not work for you or against you. We do not set your hours, your pay, your days off or your duties, and we have no say in any of it. The family you work for decides all of that. What Paz does is carry messages and keep a home organised.
How Paz got your number
Somebody in the home you work in typed your name and your WhatsApp number into Paz, and told us you should be reached this way. You did not give us your number, and you did not sign up for anything.
When they add you, we ask them to confirm that they have already told you Paz will be messaging you and what it is for. That is their responsibility, not yours. If nobody told you, you have done nothing wrong, and the last section on this page is how you stop the messages.
What Paz keeps
Your name, your role in the home, the language you prefer, and your WhatsApp number.
Every message between you and Paz, in both directions, including the voice notes and photos you send. A voice note is kept as the sound file and as the words it was turned into.
What happened with the work: which tasks you were given, which ones you marked done and when, the issues you reported, the questions you asked, and the shopping items you added. This is the record the home runs on.
All of it is stored on servers in Frankfurt, Germany, and it is kept for as long as the home you work in keeps using Paz.
Who can read it
The family and the admins of the home you work in can read your whole conversation with Paz. Not a summary of it, the messages themselves. This is the most important line on this page, so it is worth reading twice: Paz is not a private channel between you and us. If you would not want the family to read something, do not send it to Paz.
Other people who work in the same home cannot read your messages, and nobody in a different household can see anything of yours at all.
At Paz, a small number of our own people can look at a household when there is a problem to fix, such as a message that did not arrive. Nobody at Paz sits reading conversations, and we never report to an employer on how fast you reply, how often, or how much you got done.
The AI part
Paz answers you using AI, so what you send does not stay only with us. What you write or say is sent to Anthropic, which runs the model that understands you and writes the replies, along with the part of the household the answer needs, such as the names of the people in the home and the tasks for the day. Voice notes go to OpenAI first, to be turned into words. Meta carries the WhatsApp messages themselves, as it does for every message on WhatsApp.
Neither Anthropic nor OpenAI is allowed to use what we send them to train or improve their own models. Anthropic deletes what it receives within 30 days, except where its automated safety checks flag something, which it may keep for up to two years. OpenAI keeps abuse-monitoring records for up to 30 days. We pay these companies money; we do not pay them in your information, and none of it is sold or used for advertising.
How to stop the messages
Reply STOP to the Paz number, from your own phone, and Paz will stop messaging you. It works at any time, you do not need anybody’s permission, and you do not have to give a reason. Send the word on its own, so a message that happens to contain it never switches you off by accident. Reply START and the messages begin again.
Two things to know before you decide. Stopping has no effect on your job, your pay or anything else between you and the family, because we have no part in any of that. But the family will be able to see that Paz can no longer reach you, so they may well ask you about it, and after that they will have to tell you about tasks the way they did before Paz.
Asking us about your information
Write to hello@getpaz.io and tell us it is about a home you work in. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will answer you directly, in your own language if you prefer.
One thing we will not pretend about: the record of the work, such as the tasks a home gave you, belongs to that household as well as describing you, so some of it we cannot simply erase without the home losing its own history. We will tell you plainly what we can and cannot do in your case rather than sending you a form.
The longer version
This page is the short version, written for you. The full Privacy Policy is the complete document and covers everything above in more detail, including every company that handles any part of a household’s information.
